The competition for the Founders Trophy was in 2010 the 44th time the event had been staged, and at Chevin Golf Club Derby.

Winners of the competition were 1st Doug Birrell, 38pts, Ormonde Fields, 2nd Martyn Clarke, 38pts Bakewell and 3rd 37pts, David Hardy Chevin.

Martyn Clarke achieved a hole in one and Chevin Golf Club kindly presented him with a cut glass tankard to commemorate the event.

Best Veteran was Tony Broadhurst, Ashbourne and the Best Seniors Prize was won by Derek Northin, Bakewell.

Alan Cunningham, Chevin Club Captain, welcomed the society and added how much he had enjoyed the day.

Peter Brabbing, Society Captain, thanked the Society President and Vice President Fred Pitt for their organisation of the day.

All had enjoyed the course, the catering by Andy and facilities that Chevin had provided. He wished all present a safe journey home and looked forward to Presidents Day on 24th August at Ormonde Fields.
